John's Book Law of Comparative Fault
In 1992 the Tennessee Supreme Court adopted comparative fault and abolished the doctrine of contributory negligence in McIntyre v. Balentine. This edition updates the first edition with discussion of significant Tennessee appellate decisions regarding comparative fault since McIntyre, as well as relevant statutes. This work also covers unresolved issues and reviews how other states have handled similar questions. It also includes practice tips and advice on procedural issues based on the authors' experience. Key Tennessee appellate court decisions are reprinted in appendix for your easy reference.
The third edition of the book will be released in the late Fall of 2008.
