Loss of Services of a Homemaker

This report published by Rueters says that if "the typical stay-at-home mother in the United States were paid for her work as a housekeeper, cook and psychologist among other roles, she would earn $138,095 a year."

Is this data that can be reasonably relied upon by an economist in a death or personal injury case?

Probably not, as they included jobs like psychologist and CEO in calculating this. Kind of along the lines of calling me a zoologist because I have a dog, or a hairdresser because I trimmed my sideburns yesterday.

Would be nice from a damages perspective though.

I doubt it. I can't find any information on how this number was calculated. I read somewhere that it was voluntarily self-reported.
